If you follow us on Instagram, you've seen that we have an oven and a range in our Sprinter. We didn't think people would think much of it, but we've received a lot of questions about the oven. As such, I asked my father (who installed the oven for us) to provide some details about the install and the following is what he sent me.

Last weekend was destined for an epic adventure - long weekend, my birthday, and both of us off work. For us, three days off is a rare treat that must be fully utilized, so we busted out a map and decided to research everything in an eight hour radius to find the perfect place for a grand adventure. Yellowstone National Park happened to fall within that radius, and having never been, I immediately decided it was the place. Best decision ever. Read more8 Reasons Lake Tahoe is a Road Trip Must
Lake Tahoe has to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. I've been to some places that didn't live up to their hype (in my opinion at least), but Tahoe really is as awesome as everyone claims, despite the crowds. I think the lake was almost more beautiful the second time around and I've decided that it's a US road trip must.

Saving lots of money and having rad conversations we wouldn't have experienced otherwise have been the two biggest ups (for me at least).

When Bri and I planned our trip to Thailand, we decided to spend the first part of the trip in hostels and budget hotels and end with something splurgy. Well, two somethings splurgy as it turned out (see Glamping in Thailand post). However, since every fiber of my body rebels against paying exorbitant prices for lodging, we scoured the internet for something that would give us a taste of luxury without the usual painful price tag. Fortunately, most of Asia is a great place to do just that, and when we stumbled upon the Renaissance and saw that it was a great price split two ways, we decided to give it a go and ended up having an incredible experience.

Over the Christmas/New Years holidays we were finally able to find the time to install the flooring. When looking into the various options available to cover the floor of our van we came across so many choices that it seemed daunting at first. Upon further research and discussing flooring options with knowledgable family, friends and even patients at work we settled on vinyl planking.
